The Team

Jake & Kim Schamrel welcome you to Mains of Taymouth Courtyard Brasserie and Bar, a fabulous new food experience located in Kenmore, spectacular Loch Tay side, Perthshire.

It is 9 years now since we left the Cape in South Africa to make Scotland our home. And you might just remember us while we were at Kenmore Hotel - or the helm of Aberfeldy’s famous award winning Farleyer Restaurant and Rooms. Inspired by the Menzies’ plans for Taymouth, and now well armed with great local and area knowledge, we’ve now become well established at The Courtyard’s contemporary restaurant, replete with outdoor patio, indoor barbecue and separate bar.

We warmly invite you to join us and experience the very best of the local Scottish larder - and especially to savour our South African expertise in the art of barbecuing. We want to create the perfect day out for you - our guests.
