The Courtyard - at The Mains Of Taymouth, a 120 acre estate nestled in magnificent Loch Tay country in the quite delightful, rather irresistible little conservation village of  Kenmore in Highland Perthshire. Built in the 19th century and formerly the home farm for Taymouth Castle, the stunning courtyard buildings themselves are now tastefully converted into award winning luxury holiday cottages.

Mains of Taymouth Courtyard Brasserie and Bar has been constructed around an open decked area with a view of the Loch. We also offer free car-parking for anyone visiting Kenmore to the order of some 80 vehicles. Never worry about parking in this beautiful Highland resort again. We even offer shaded parking areas and fresh drinking water to ensure your pets are as comfortable as you are on your perfect day out.

The whole area has seen an explosion of new but very tasteful tourism developments aimed largely at the top end of the market. Many more luxury holiday cottages are planned, as well as stunning country lodges for sale or timeshare. Everything here is done very carefully though to protect the charm and beauty of one of the finest and most exclusive little villages in Scotland. Some call it the ‘mini Monte Carlo of Scotland’ – but without all the noise and hubbub!
