It took the developers around 18 months and over £1M to create
the Courtyard. The result – a comfortable, modern and airy
building with a very inviting atmosphere and relaxing ambience.
One of its most notable features is the wooden decking out front
where in fine weather guests can relax over drinks or a meal and
take in the stunning Highland vistas which surround. It is also
a handy facility now that the smoking ban is in force. In all, the
Courtyard has 150 covers available across its dining, bar and outdoor
decking areas.
And the local area has seen an explosion of new tourism developments
aimed particularly at the top end of the market. The nearby Mains
of Taymouth Cottages, award winning luxury self catering cottages
among the very finest in Scotland. The multi million pound redevelopment
of Taymourh Castle and its 450 acre estate into an international
luxury resort. With much more to follow, including plans for a health
spa.
